Job Description

Job Duties & Goals For Bedford Area-Corporate Sales Manager:

  • They will be responsible for booking group rooms and catering, with a major focus (80%) on outward Bound Selling efforts, meaning all new business.
  • Expected to check and respond to emails from clients promptly, during and after normal working hours if necessary.
  • Make a minimum of 50 New Sales Calls each of Telephone & In person meetings combined
  • Minimum of 10 new Outside Sales Call appointments each week.
  • Responsibility for the development, sales & service for all FIT Business for the hotel
  • Sales Manager must report daily to the Holiday Inn.
  • Communicate on an ongoing With The Director of Sales at Holiday Inn..
  • Log all calls and contacts into Salesforce daily
  • Attend Assigned Trade Shows
  • Adhere to the Boxer standards of professional dress code
  • All other duties as assigned by your supervisors
  • Develop 3 target accounts monthly and pursue for new business
  • Meet goals for transient and group business as outlined in the budget

  • Minimum 2 years outside sales experience
  • Optimistic self-starter with high degree of drive, motivation and initiative
  • Become a Member of SGMP by no later than January 1, 2017
  • Trips to Elevation a minimum of 8 times per year, (every 6 weeks) for at least 5 Business days each time.
  • Minimum Expectation of hours 45 to 50 per week, with an extremely flexible schedule
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required, some college or degree preferred
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and MVR
